Promoting Participation in the Moraga Community

Last week many volunteers worked together from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day to assemble something new for children at Rancho Laguna Park. This large versatile play structure emerged! Here Council members and Park and Recreation Commissioners are cutting the ribbon to open the playful creation for the town's children to enjoy for many years to come. Here are a few photos:

The Mayor thanks the many people and organizations who built this structure. Note the crowd gathered for the occasion.

Council members and Park and Recreation Commissioners cut the traditional red ribbon to signal completion and the opening of the play structure for the kids.

And here is the first child down the long tube slide!

Here are the Richards children with their new Lemonade Stand placed temporarily at Ranch Laguna Park, selling a cup of lemonade to Graig Crossley, former Council member and mayor.
