This Volunteer Posting Site is for the convenience of MCN users who would like to either post an opportunity to find volunteers, or to match your skills and desires with a volunteer opportunity event that is listed here.

If you are going to post a volunteer opportunity:

Please use the drop down boxes to list your opportunity, after creating an account. Also, give a title and short description of the opportunity. If there is anything special you need for the opportunity to be successful for the organization and volunteers, please make sure you include that information.

Most importantly, please realize that the contact person you list on the opportunity is the person in your organization who is heading up the event from a volunteer standpoint. Please list this person’s name and contact information.

All listings are automatically deleted 30 days after the date of listing. However, you may re-list an opportunity for another 30 days if that is needed.

The listing organization must assume full responsibility for the volunteers, the event, and the accuracy of the posting. MCN assumes no responsibility for these matters. It merely provides the site for the postings.

If you are searching for a volunteer opportunity:

MCN plays no role in connecting the volunteer with the organization. MCN is not the sponsor of the volunteer opportunity; it only provides the bridge to connect needs with volunteers. MCN takes no responsibility for the accuracy of the listing, the event, or the volunteer's participation.

Our Mission

Moraga Citizens Network is a grassroots organization dedicated to encouraging participation in the life of Moraga in these ways: First, we provide or direct members to non-partisan, factual information on current issues. Secondly, we assist the town staff in publicizing public meetings and town-sponsored events when needed. Finally, Moraga Citizens Network announces many recreational, educational, and fund raising events offered in Moraga by the Town's service organizations, library, non-profit organizations, and Saint Mary's College - all towards the end of promoting participation in the Moraga community. Our primary tool is a bi-monthly e-bulletin called The MCN Link, which you can receive by signing up here.
